  • By hiring a LEGO set from Bucks Brick Borrowers, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

    ​

    1. Hire Period

    • Each hire period will be clearly stated at the time of booking.

    • LEGO sets must be returned to the designated location within the agreed timescales.

    • If the set is not returned by the agreed return date, a late fee of £15 per 7-day period (or part thereof) will be charged until the set is returned.

    2. Condition of the Set

    • All LEGO sets must be disassembled and the bricks sorted into the correct bag numbers as per the instructions provided with the set.

    • If the set is returned with missing pieces, damaged pieces, or if the bricks are not sorted correctly into the proper bag numbers, you will forfeit your entire deposit, and no refund will be issued.

    3. Missing Bricks

    • If pieces are found to be missing when you receive the set or during your build, please complete the Missing Bricks Form available on our website or provided at the time of hire.

    • Bucks Brick Borrowers will make reasonable efforts to locate and replace missing pieces. However, availability of replacement bricks cannot be guaranteed.

    • Any missing bricks that cannot be replaced will be deducted from your deposit.

    4. Lost or Damaged Sets

    • In the event that the LEGO set is not returned or is significantly damaged (making it unfit for future hire), you will be charged the current retail price of the set.

    • If the original set is no longer available, you will be charged the cost of a similar set of equivalent value.

    5. Refund of Fee

    • 100% of the deposit will be refunded upon return of the set in good condition, with all pieces present and correctly sorted into the correct bag numbers.

    • Refunds will be processed within 7 days of the return of the LEGO set, subject to the set passing the condition check.

    6. Responsibility for Safe Use

    • LEGO sets must be used responsibly and as intended. Bucks Brick Borrowers is not liable for any accidents, injuries, or damages resulting from the use of the sets.

    7. Return Location

    • LEGO sets must be returned to the designated location specified during the booking process.

    • Failure to return the set to the correct location within the agreed timeframe will incur additional late charges of £15 per week (or part thereof) until the set is returned.

    8. Shipping

    • If the hirer cannot collect or return the LEGO set to the agreed location and the item must be shipped, all shipping costs, including packaging and postage, are the responsibility of the hirer.

    • Bucks Brick Borrowers is not responsible for any damage or loss that occurs during shipping. It is recommended that appropriate insurance is purchased if shipping is required.

    9. Payment of Fees

    • All fees, including late fees, shipping fees, and replacement charges, are non-negotiable and must be paid within 7 days of being invoiced.

    10. Breach of Terms

    • Failure to comply with these terms may result in suspension or termination of your access to Bucks Brick Borrowers services.

    11. Updates to Terms and Conditions

    • Bucks Brick Borrowers reserves the right to update or amend these terms and conditions at any time. Changes will be communicated to members.

    By hiring a LEGO set, you acknowledge and agree to these terms and conditions.
