About the club:
TVP Sports & Social Club (TVP SSC) is made up of 24 Sports Clubs and 8 Social Clubs and is open to all TVP Police Officers and Police Staff. Retired Officers, Special Constables and Staff are also welcome to continue with their membership, paid on an annual basis. 
 
Sports Clubs
Our Sports Clubs participate in Police Sport UK (PSUK) national events and give members a fantastic way to represent TVP in a sport they enjoy. Funding provided from TVP SSC membership subscriptions assist towards the costs involved in taking part in sports events. We will always encourage new sporting clubs to form, providing they form part of the Team Police supported sections. Taking part in sports is a great way to maintain fitness and meet new people from across TVP in a shared interest. It goes hand in hand with staff Wellbeing.

Social Clubs
Our Social Clubs run independently with their own committees. Social Clubs play a positive part in staff wellbeing, arranging theatre trips, tuck shops with healthy meal alternatives along with other opportunities to improve team working. 
Social Clubs along with the Sporting Clubs need active members that want to get involved and make a difference. If you work in an area that does not have an active Social Club but want to set one up then please email us using the email address on the contact details section and we will talk you through what is required to start a club. 
The Sports & Social Club looks after the administration and collection of subscriptions, paying the subscriptions to the area clubs, running the lottery, and making payments to the Force sporting sections.
 
Membership
Membership subscriptions are £3.00 per month and deductions are made direct from your pay. Retired subscriptions are £36 paid annually.  (75% of membership subscriptions get paid to the Social Club of your choice, 25% is kept centrally to fund the Sports Clubs and cover other TVP SSC associated costs.) There is no limit on how many sporting clubs you take part in. £3.00 per month covers all of what is on offer from TVP SSC.
